Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What's the difference between a backdrop with a "floor" and one with "no floor"?
Answer: When choosing a backdrop, you'll choose a backdrop with a "floor" (meaning a tall backdrop) or a "no floor" backdrop. Examples can be found here, but essentially if you choose a tall backdrop, there will be a portion that rests on the floor and allows your subject to be immersed in the backdrop's environment. This gives you more options when doing a photo shoot, like including props and giving a sense of realistic distance.
Question: Are the backdrops as vibrant as the website shows?
Answer: Due to our backdrops being printed using sublimation, the colors will not exactly match the website. During sublimation, the fabric is actually dyed so it's much more permanent than screen printing and will last much longer. The colors in your backdrop will be close to what's shown on the website, but may not be exact.
Question: What can I do to spruce up my backdrop?
Answer: Great question! There's a couple different ways to amp up the cool factor on your backdrop. If you would like to have us do small additions to your backdrop, contact us with a link to the item(s) you'd like us to add in and we'll see what we can do. The other option would be to purchase the props or items you'd like to use and physically arrange them in front of your backdrop. Personally, I think the second option does help add some realism and depth to your photo.
